HYBE Cine Fest Opens Tokyo Pop-Up Ahead of Global Cinema Event: What Fans Need to Know
HYBE Cine Fest’s Tokyo pop-up runs October 9–25, ahead of the October 24–31 global cinema event. Here are the booking details and local-time checks fans should make before planning a visit.
HYBE Cine Fest 2026’s Tokyo pop-up begins its scheduled run on October 9, giving fans in Japan an early opportunity to join the festival’s offline activities before its main global cinema event later this month.
According to host venue Yurakucho Marui, the pop-up runs through October 25. The dates are separate from the festival’s October 24–31 global cinema window, an important distinction for fans combining a shopping visit with a screening.
Tokyo visitors need reservations for the opening weekend
The pop-up is located at SPACE1, an event area on the eighth floor of Yurakucho Marui. Published opening hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., with final entry at 6:30 p.m., all in Japan Standard Time (JST, UTC+9).
Admission is free. However, entry on October 9–12 requires an advance reservation through LINE, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Fans planning a visit during those four days should check the venue’s official instructions and reservation availability before travelling. Free admission does not mean walk-in entry is available during the reservation-only period.
Concert films and BTS live viewings headline the program
The cinema lineup includes SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR ‘NEW_’, TOMORROW X TOGETHER WORLD TOUR ‘ACT : TOMORROW’ and ENHYPEN WORLD TOUR ‘BLOOD SAGA’, alongside live viewings of BTS’s ‘ARIRANG’ tour in South America.
The October 24–31 festival window is an overall schedule. It does not establish that every film will play every day, or that every participating cinema will carry the full lineup. Fans should use the official festival website to find the titles and sessions listed for their location.
Check local screening dates for BTS
HYBE identifies two concerts for the BTS live viewings: the third Buenos Aires show on October 24 and the second São Paulo show on October 30.
Those are the concert dates in the announcement. Depending on the city and time zone, cinemas will show a live or delayed broadcast, so a local screening may fall on a different calendar date. Before booking, fans should check the country, cinema, date and start time on the official BTS live-viewing ticket page rather than simply converting the concert date themselves.
A shared cheering experience on screen
The HYBE CHEERING PARTY brings together music-video content from BTS, SEVENTEEN, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, ENHYPEN, LE SSERAFIM, &TEAM, BOYNEXTDOOR, TWS, ILLIT, KATSEYE, aoen, CORTIS and SANTOS BRAVOS.
Distributor Trafalgar Releasing describes a format with 3D-enhanced on-screen lyrics that fans can follow while cheering. The participating-artist list refers to screen content; it is not an announcement of in-person appearances at the venues.
Where international fans should look for tickets
The announced global ticket launch was September 30, while the Korean launch is scheduled for October 15 at 10 a.m. Korea Standard Time (KST, UTC+9). International fans should therefore check listings for their own market rather than wait for the Korean sale date. Individual screenings and ticket availability still need to be confirmed with the relevant cinema.
For Japan, the festival’s dedicated Japanese website provides local information. Fans planning both a pop-up visit and a film screening should verify the two separately: the venue’s entry rules govern the pop-up, while cinema listings determine screening dates and ticket arrangements.
