100 Days of Deception premieres: three dramas to explore Yoo In-sik’s work

The October 10 spy-romance premiere is a starting point for exploring the director’s work, from Extraordinary Attorney Woo to Dr. Romantic 2.

100 Days of Deception is set to premiere on October 10, 2026, bringing a new historical spy romance from director Yoo In-sik. For viewers recognizing his name from Extraordinary Attorney Woo or Dr. Romantic, the launch offers a reason to explore his work across three very different settings. Here is a spoiler-light guide, with one official video for each stop.

The new arrival: 100 Days of Deception

tvN lists the first broadcast for October 10 at 9:10 p.m. KST. Netflix's weekly guide published October 9 also places the series on its October 10 schedule. Overseas streaming viewers should check their local title page for availability; the Korean broadcast time is not a universal Netflix release hour.

Kim You-jung, Park Jin-young and Kim Hyun-joo lead the cast. A gifted pickpocket infiltrates the Japanese colonial government to steal secrets, then falls for her target's son, according to Netflix's official synopsis. Reporting from the September 29 production presentation, The Korea Times identifies Yoo as director and places the story in 1932 Gyeongseong, the former name for Seoul.

The courtroom: Extraordinary Attorney Woo

The 2022 drama follows Woo Young-woo, an autistic attorney beginning work at a major law firm. Park Eun-bin, Kang Tae-oh and Kang Ki-young star, while Netflix's credits name Yoo In-sik and writer Moon Ji-won as creators.

Its official English-subtitled trailer, released by Netflix K-Content on June 23, 2022, introduces a professional newcomer facing challenges in court and among colleagues. This is an earlier title for viewers curious about Yoo's career. Its contemporary legal setting offers a different starting point from the new drama's undercover mission.

The hospital: Dr. Romantic 2

Han Suk-kyu, Ahn Hyo-seop and Lee Sung-kyung lead the 2020 medical drama. SBS's production introduction credits Yoo as director and describes the story around Kim Sa-bu and the doctors of Doldam Hospital. The Viu Singapore trailer, published January 2, 2020, provides a short introduction to that ensemble.

Start with the new premiere, then choose the courtroom or hospital drama according to your interests. The older titles provide career context; their casts and stories stand separately. Before starting full episodes, check current regional availability and, for Dr. Romantic 2, whether you want to begin with the first season.
